The facelifted 5 series will keep the same powertrains though there is a new 48v mild hybrid system on the 540i models which keeps the 3.0L turbo Straight 6 and 335HP. The 530e model gets 288HP and 310 lb-ft of torque from a 2.0L Turbo 4 and electric motor. The M550i gets 523HP and 533 lb-ft of torque from its 4.4L TT V8 as before with 3.6sec 0-60 and 155MPH TopSpeed. An all-new 545e PHEV also is here with 394HP and 442 lb-ft of torque.

Wireless CarPlay and android auto also are featured with Apple’s CarKey also present. The interior still is great and the seats, M Sport steering wheel, and build quality are also still top-notch. But with Audi, Mercedes, and even Genesis now offering more advanced digital gauge clusters. BMW needs to catch up. Pricing is set to start around ₦21 million and it is already on sale nationwide.
