Another shooter’s attack has taken South-Eastern Nigeria by a storm, and this time, it was a Bullion Van that fell victim to it.

On Thursday, Unknown gunmen harbouring in Aboh Mbaise attacked a bullion van at Ogbor-Nguru in Aboh Mbaise Local Government of Imo State.
The attacked bullion van took off from Owerri and was filled with loads of cash it was to offload at a new generational bank in Mbaise when it was attacked.
An eye witness, Kennedy Onwunali, said the gunmen attacked the bullion van at the general hospital in Mbaise after repeatedly shooting at the van. At the same time, the driver remained courageous enough to keep moving.

While the driver kept trying to dodge the gunmen that kept shooting, the vehicle immediately somersaulted and the armed robbers ran away.

No life was lost, the loaded money wasn’t lost. The driver, bank official and the police escort all survived the ordeal. But, the bullion van was brutally damaged by bullets and the somersault.
