At some point, we would expect almost everyone to get tired of the Toyota Corolla. If we are being honest, that should have been a long time ago, and maybe it has been. People only go for Toyotas because they are mostly affordable and preserve value and reliability over time, but they lack the “glam” that you would find in other cars and its closest sister, the Lexus, and thus fail in comparison. We wouldn’t even blame you if you ever got tired of hearing the car, and most times it is the older models that are being bought.

So it isn’t like, most people actually want to spend money on the more recent ones, and we can say that the design of the Toyota Corolla has been lacking with no recent or significant change. So we know that even hearing about how great this budget-friendly car can be is enough to pass anyone off, and you’ve clearly heard people praise it for being futuristic, so if you are getting tired of the Corolla, we are here to inform you that you should forgo more classy cars and still stick with it.

Here’s One Thing The 2023 Toyota Corolla Has That The 2023 Toyota Camry Does Not Have
Here’s One Thing The 2023 Toyota Corolla Has That The 2023 Toyota Camry Does Not Have

If you ask any car shopper what car they want to buy or what car they are hoping to get, most would likely mention the Toyota Corolla. And this is not because, as we said, it is reliable and affordable; if you ask them what car is their dream car, there is a possibility this car won’t be mentioned. We mean, we can’t really blame them; there hasn’t been a “wow factor” in this car in recent years. The Toyota remains kind of blind and not something that would necessarily catch your eye if you wanted to buy it.

This is probably the reason why the automakers have added more variants and trim levels to try to balance out the lineup with more exciting features. Would that still make you want to buy this car, or even when you can afford the luxury, would it still be able to pique your fancy? Keep reading this blog to find out.

If you don’t like the basic sedan, the 2023 Toyota Corolla is also available as a hybrid, hatchback, or high-riding SUV

Fans of the well-liked Toyota sedan will find almost everything they want in the affordable tiny sedan. Toyota, however, felt that the Corolla moniker should go beyond the practical if unremarkable, tiny automobile to include these options:

Toyota defied convention by sharing a namesake with a four-door electric vehicle, just like Ford did when it shared the revered Mustang name and badge. The ride height of the Toyota model is raised to that of a compact SUV with the Cross, while the hatchback and hybrid are comparable to the conventional, gas-powered sedan. The fact that a track-ready GR Corolla hatchback is even more astounding.

How far can a hybrid Toyota Corolla travel on just electricity?

According to Toyota, the Corolla Hybrid’s electric-only range is about 25 miles. A comparable Honda Civic cannot equal the Toyota model’s hybrid grades’ fuel economy figures of up to 53 mpg city and 46 mpg highway, although the Civic is pretty good, the GR Corolla is just better probably because of the hybrid variant.

A characteristic the Toyota model offers with its hybrid versions, all-wheel drive, is also absent from rivals like the Civic and Hyundai Elantra. But for a lower starting price, the Elantra promises better highway mileage. But many won’t want to go for the Elantra even when it poses a cheaper price and above-average mileage.

Why The Corolla Hatchback?

Although the hatchback provides liftback functionality, its claustrophobic rear seats may put off potential buyers. The Corolla Hatchback might be the right choice if you’re looking for a liftback rear end and additional cargo room. Even so, despite having 18.3 cubic feet of storage space, the Toyota Corolla Hatchback falls short by over 7.0 cubic feet compared to a comparable Honda Civic Hatchback. The Accord has more space in the back seats than the hatchback, which appears to be its Faustian bargain.

The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla is an AWD hot hatchback with a standard six-speed manual transmission and a 300-horsepower turbocharged three-cylinder engine. It is the wild child of its namesake’s lineup. Surprisingly, this car is the best car if you are looking for speed.

When buying a Toyota car, the Corolla would probably be the first choice for those wanting to stick to a budget but, we know this praised car can get boring even after all the clout it gets. That is probably why this blog is for you if you want to see what the Toyota Corolla can offer.
